Oh Canada!

In the afternoon we continued 20 miles to Bedwell Harbor on South Pender Island to clear Canadian Customs and call it a day. 84 miles, Day 1. We're happy and well. "Phoenix" ran like a champ all day.

Hi Katherine & Bob,

Looks like you got a new boat, what is it and where are you headed now? Ken Shanley

Hi Ken! So nice to see your name again! Yes, we sold our Ocean Alexander "Next To Me", wanting twin engines after last summer's accident. Bought a twin engine Navigator, 44' pilothouse. We're headed up the Inside Passage for the next 3 months. Gorgeous area! Bring your boat out here and check it out? Would love to see you, Ann, Charis (am I recalling all the names correctly?) What are your cruising grounds this year?

We left Venice the 3rd week of March and headed through Lake Okeechobee up the east coast of Florida to Jacksonville. Then up the St. John's river to Sanford, back to Jax and down the east coast around the keys and arrived home yesterday. Has a great trip. Enjoy!

Oh, we badly wanted to do the St. John's River, but our Loop boat sold so fast at the end that we had to miss it. Bet it was beautiful. Glad all is well with you.
