Lunch on JAL

Cathryn had Japanese: Zensai was vinegared veggies, salmon sashimi, black tofu, deep-fried flounder, poached string beans, prawn and eggplant, soba noodles with grated yam sauce, and Japanese pickles, followed by steamed pork and Chinese cabbage with steamed rice and miso soup. Dessert was chocolate cake and cheesecake.

Bob had Chinese. Hors d'oeuvres were radish and celery salad, seared scallops, spiced chicken, oriental veggie salad, and duck salad with cauliflower soup. The main dish was stir-fried chicken with black pepper sauce. Dessert was cheeses and grapes.

Better than the turkey sandwiches that we have at home!
